Time to move on...

If you are one of the lucky people who got calls from the all-important Management Institutes (any one of the worthy ones, that is), this is NOT for you. For you, I am sure there are a lot of motivational gurus who are going to eat your brain out teaching you how to get ahead from here. Incidentally, if you are really one such lucky guy/ gal, we are offering our flagship PDP too.

But this writeup is really for those who are not as lucky as the ones above. I am saying "lucky" because it is simply a matter of timing and the proverbial Hand of God, that didn't come to your rescue. More often than not, you got left out because you didn't do that one or two questions in that right amount of time. That one day, you may not have been in the rightest of your mood, or got out the leftest of your bed! In any case, as they say, LIFE must move on...

So what are your options really? Plenty. Think about whether the MBA was and still is the most sought after sacred cow for you or not. If not, it becomes easier. Move on to catch the less holier cow. It could be getting a serious job, or maybe a brand new qualification. Or worse, getting married!

If yes, then its time to stand up against all the injustice, and get set for a second attack. Rebound with all the gusto and energy that you can muster. Come back like the Sensex Bull and chase the bears out. Believe me, there is nothing like a US recession in your own life. This is how you are tested, so take it head on.

A suggested past time is a job that still gives you some time to be with yourself. And it is important to give you that self-confidence and keep you busy. You will never undervalue the available time, and you will make the best use of it.
